Emily joined Oakwood as the Ruminant Clinical Director in 2019 following 6 years with Westpoint Farm Vets (1 year internship at Winchester, and 5 years at Chelmsford) and is enjoying working with a mixed team.
She is interested in all areas of farm animal practice, with a particular interest in dairy, herd health planning and mobility (qualified AHDB mobility mentor). She also has her export panels meaning that she can export all farm animals and products if required (hence why she is sometimes seen on pig visits as well!)
She represents the mobility group on the Origin clinical board, as well as leading the mobility group for the Vet Partners network and is currently working towards her certificate in advanced veterinary practice (cattle).
When not working, Emily enjoys time spent messing around with horses and cows (preferably British Whites)! She is also a qualified athletics official and judges up to international level, as well as playing the occasional game of netball when the rota allows!
